I have used it four times now on my flat tractor battery. What makes it so good is that it has a glow plug that needs to heat up before starting the tractor.
The jump starter worked perfectly and only dropped the charge 2-3 % .

The GOOLOO GT4000S Jump Starter arrived promptly and I had cause to use it to start my 3.0L Ford Ranger which had the battery run flat when a door was left ajar and the interior light operating. I have not had a chance to use it to start a vehicle but have used the torch and the USB port to charge my phone, both work well.
I was a little confused with the advertising as to which jump starter would be the best for me. I was surprised the the jump starter did not come with a hard carry case to protect it from damage in the back of my vehicle.

My son run's an automotive service part-time. He regularly is contacted by someone with a car or truck that won't start. After buying several Jump Starters a few years ago, he gave up on them because they either didn't work or didn't hold up under use. I ordered the Gooloo for him as a Birthday gift hoping this would be much improved over the previous models.After opening the box and picking up the jump starter, I could immediately see and feel the difference from models my son and I owned in the past. This unit is hefty, has stout well made case and a large easy to read display. The accessory kit has every cable you could need; Heavy Duty Jumper Cables, SC 100W Car Charger, USB to Type-C , Type-C to Type-C Cable, Cigarette Lighter Adapter and Storage Bag.With only 2 buttons to control the unit, it's easy to operate. Simply press the Power Button to turn it on. If your going to jump a vehicle with a completely dead battery, you need to press the Boost Button. A long press of the Power Button turns on the very bright Flash Light on the end. Pressing the power button 2 more times cycles the flash light through Strobe modes. This is handy if you have problems after dark and need light to connect the jumper.I wanted to test the unit but none of my vehicles had dead or low battery so I disconnect the battery on my diesel powered tractor. I had used the tractor earlier in the morning to push snow and left it outside in 20 degree temp for 10 hours. Since disconnecting the cables from the battery mimics having a dead battery, I had to push the Boost Button to get power. My tractor started immediately! As you can see at the end of the video, the tractor start only dropped the battery capacity from 98% to 95%.The Gooloo could also be used as a Power Bank for operating and charging other devices.At this time I'm giving it 5 Stars and will update the review after some use by my son.

It's a great Unit, It definitely has some juice. I ended up needing it about one week after I received because I left my lights on overnight in 9 degree temps. Got up for work and hit my remote start and didn't hear a thing. Instantly knew it was dead. This unit, even not being the one with the self heating, started my 4.7l v8 the first time with the boost function. (I had left the unit in the car overnight so it was definitely cold). Has a light, will fast charge your phone or laptop. Gonna try it out at work to try and start some diesels, no doubts at all.

In addition to the GOOLOO pack I have a 2000 amp jump pack as well as another 4000 amp jump pack. Size wise, this is the largest of the packs I have, and probably the strongest. I have a 4.4 L gas engine, but the target engine is a 7.3 L diesel.As i've been increasingly taking my truck off-grid, i'm continuously looking at better options to be able to self extract. The GOOLOO product is intended to get me out of a no-start situation.The GOOLOO pack has a nice large LCD screen as well as a nice large light more COB in style than the other packs. The battery clamps on this pack are also by far the largest set of clamps for any of the packs and also the longest length of cables.Why is that important? In most BMW��s the battery is not mounted in the engine bay - but rather some other part of the vehicle for better weight distribution. What this can lead to is posts that are mounted in the engine bay, but spread out further than your typical battery. The GOOLOO have plenty of length where this is not an issue.Since my batteries are in good shape, I could not test the low battery scenario. So I tried to simulate a dead battery situation by disconnecting the batteries. I was able to get it to crank, but not start. I know I need 10.5 V to the computer to actually get it to turn over, so I don��t think I was getting enough voltage to the computer. That does indicate that in a low voltage setting, I should be able to start the truck. More testing is required, but so far this is pretty promising.In comparison, the other 4000 amp jump pack, would not even turn over the engine.So the package comes in a nice box - not unlike apple product packaging. So in general - a pretty nice package. It also comes with a storage bag, but not a semi-hard case like some of the competition.If I were to make a suggestion, i'd spend less money on the box, and upgrade the storage bag to a similar semi-hard case. That should allow all the parts to stay in place, and not get separated from the jump pack.Other than that whine, a very capable and solid product.Well done.

The Gooloo JSPB GT4000s is heavy and large. Much larger than my wife's X-10 starter pack. You need to plan on storing in the trunk or under the rear seat of a pickup. Most gloveboxes will not store this thing. I did test on my diesel mower and my 6.2l GMC Pickup without the battery attached and the truck engine spun like normal. No sign it was something 1/4 the size of the battery under the hood. With the unit comes several connectors for various uses which is a nice bonus. I did purchase the storage hard case which is a separate purchase and I will review it later. The one thing I like about this and one of the reasons I think the unit is so large, the battery clamps don't have that large block on its cables. On other units "clamp wires" there is a large block which is the protective circuit indicator and alerts to the crossing of wires (positive on a neg). This Gooloo does not have that large block on the wires yet does have cross wire protection and those circuits must be in the unit itself. This may seem like a non issue, but storing the cables with that big "wart" on the wires was always a challenge for me.

I bought this for my truck, the next day at my job site I saw the siding crew trying to jump start a 80' diesel man lift with their super duty truck and cables. I offered this jump box, the contractor looked at it like a toy, then said it wouldn't work.
Thirty minutes later of him trying to use the truck he gave up. After he left I connected to the lift battery, it immediately would crank, but not start. Three clicks of the boost button and it the engine started right up!
Pretty impressive for such a small device to start a huge diesel engine, even when connecting to a super duty duel battery truck couldn't get it.

Several complaints with the GOOLOO GT4000S
1. The product does not come with a 'lightning charger'. without the lightning charger it will take hours for the device to charge even a small amount. I used the supplied charging cable to charge top off the jump starter and after 4 hours of charging the display indicated a 5% increase. it will take days for the jump starter to charge using the supplied cable.
2. The device does not work in cold weather. Temperature was -15F and my car battery was old and would not start my vehicle. When I tried to use the GOOLOO jump box the screen showed an E4 on the screen, beeps constantly and then automatically turns off.
3. The jumper box will not take a charge as it only shows an E4 on the screen, beeps and then shuts off after 30 seconds.
my advice is to purchase a different device, this one left me stranded and simply does not work.

Used it on a 3 cylinder diesel engine that the battery was reading 0 volts on. Connected this and it started right up. I��ve used other brands in the past and it always need some charge from the battery to work. Not this one. It did it on its own. A little bigger than I thought but maybe that��s why it works so well

I've had this for a month or so, used primarily for charging laptops/Ipads, worked well, like my other lithium ion battery packs but more capable. Recently left fully charged in my truck for several weeks in freezing temperatures. This morning, I attempted to start my truck, (6.4 L/392 cu in V8) and the battery (AGM H7 from Napa) was so low it wouldn't even unlock the doors. I used the key to get in and hooked the GooLoo up. It was still reading 100% despite being mid 20s, truck instantly cranked like it had a fully charged H7 under the hood. GooLoo still read 96% remaining.

I purchased this item with the intent of using it for my off roading trip. As soon as I took it out of the box I heard a sound of something big rocking loose coming from inside the casing. You can hear it in the video. It does not come with a rugged case either. I do not trust the build quality of the product at All! I have two different ones from other companies that I'll be taking with me on my trip that I do trust.

On line purchase of the Gooloo GT4000S. Within a week of receiving it I had to use it to start my car. I had already fully charged it. Car started immediately. unhooked it from the battery and noticed that 95% remained, then powered it down. Decided to top it off the charge before storing it. Charged back up to 100%, but would not turn on after pressing the on button. The device repeatedly showed 75% when I plugged in back in, but still would not turn on. Using the information recommended in the product manual, I tried contacting GooLoo via email and customer support number. Email address did not work, someone answered the phone once then pretended to have a bad connection. After that they repeatedly hung up on me. Email came back undeliverable. I just sent it back for a refund. If you are fortunate and get a good one, you probably should consider purchasing the extended warranty. The associates at gooloo highly likely will avoid helping you after the sale.
